Entrepreneurship Council Structure and Detail

A new Initiative is being launched by the Marion Area Chamber of Council to support and encourage those who have chosen to be a business owner… entrepreneur. 

Who is Invited to Participate?

Those responsible for the bottom line success of their company whether a Chamber member or not.

Participant must be:  owner, founder, CEO, President or Managing Partner of a for-profit entity.

Business must have been in existence for at least 2 years.

What will be offered?

Roundtables consisting of 8 non-competing business owners.

Working lunch will be provided; meeting time will be from noon to 1:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the Marion Area Chamber of Commerce, with every 4th meeting being an evening social gathering.

Groups will be self-facilitated, self-directed.

Periodically, at the groups choosing, speakers will be made available.

Cost to participate

For non-chamber members cost is $200, due at time of completion of the application, plus $50 per quarter.  For those who are chamber members, the cost is just $50 per quarter.  Note the quarterly cost includes lunch provided at each meeting as well as any costs associated with provision of speakers, etc.
