Volunteers responsible for Chamber member recognition and networking programs. A one time initiation fee of $90 and annual membership dues of $20 is applicable to this group.
Purpose of this Council is to support and encourage those who have chosen to lead their own for-profit business venture. The challenges faced by an owner, founder, CEO, President, Managing Partner are unique and demanding. Leadership skills and the ability to look at the big picture are necessary. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for these individuals to come together for confidential information sharing and brainstorming. Speakers will occasionally be provided based on the particular topics/interests expressed by the members however most meetings will be self-facilitated in small groups of non-competing businesses. For non-chamber members cost is $200, due at time of completion of the application, plus $50 per quarter. For those who are Chamber members, the cost is just $50 per quarter. Human Resource Council
Regular educational and information sharing meetings of human resource professionals. An additional annual membership fee of $100 covers the cost of lunch meetings.
Participants attend nine sessions beginning with an opening retreat in September and continuing with a one day session each month through May. During this time, they have the opportunity to develop and implement new leadership skills as well as learn about the community of Marion. The program fee for participation in the program is $800.
Monthly informational meetings for chief executive officers and Plant Managers. An additional annual membership fee of $120 is applicable and covers the cost of lunch meetings.
Marion Area Safety Council
Regular educational meetings for those responsible for safety in their workplace. An additional annual membership fee of $150 is applicable and covers the cost of lunch meetings.
Non-Profit Executives Council
This council brings together Executive Directors of non-profit organizations, education and government to share best practices, gain access to resources and participate in educational programming. Participants attend every other month on the 1st Friday of the month. The 90 minute working lunch meeting is 11:30 am to 1 pm. Cost is $75 (lunch provided) per year.
